Kate had such a fun fourth birthday and birthday party. It was her first in Arkansas and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed time with friends and family at her party and then had some great memories as a family. I'll let the pics tell the story.
Kate woke up to a decorated hallway/stair case on her birthday morning.
It was a chilly morning so we dressed up in our puffy vests.
That evening there were gifts to open by the birthday girl but she was gracious and let her brother help her out.
Kate helped me make her birthday cake and I have to say it turned out awful. She didn't seem to mind though.
Then came her party...what a fun party!
It was a woodland theme because she specifically (over and over) requested a chipmunk birthday party. So we managed to find cupcake toppers that has chipmunks, bunnies, raccoons and skunks. Of course she requested a skunk cupcake rather than a chipmunk.
Sweet Ava Jane and Benjamin "guarding" her. Little did we know Ava Jane would end up in the hospital just 3 days later due to a heart complication. She is precious and in our prayers in a major way right now.
