I was told when I had Kate that as a Mom the days would be long but the years would be short. That really did seem to be true for most days at the beginning of my days as a Mom. Now though, the days seem to fly by. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely days that are crazy...like this morning. But I now have a better idea that these days are fast and furiously speeding away. So I try to ignore that my house feels more like Toys r Us and that I'm barely making it to the shower before noon...rarely in the bathroom by myself for that matter. I wouldn't trade it for anything though. I love these two and am amazed that they are ours!
