In a New York State of Mind

My handsome husband painting for his baby girl's crib

22 weeks and 5 days

We left fairly early Saturday morning on the train to New York City.

On the train, on the way to New York City

In Grand Central Station

Don't judge me...I'm pregnant...so yes I CAN have cheesecake before 10am!

At Times Square

Being silly on Broadway

On 'Top of the Rock' at Rockefeller Plaza

Eating lunch at Trump Tower

After lunch we went to FAO Schwartz...
This soldier was made completely of jelly beans!

The Harry Potter characters were made out of legos
The Plaza Hotel

Then we went to Central Park and ended up getting black and white portrait sketches done...

And here's the results...the artist did both of us in about 30 minutes! I was pretty impressed.

Central Park

At Grand Central Station getting ready to head back to New Haven. We were so exhausted, but we had a great time together. We'll have to go again and plan what we're going to do. This trip was my first time in New York and I just wanted to go and see what there was to see. Next time we're going to sqeeze in a baseball game or go to show. It's great though, we were able to make it home in time to grab a pizza and chill out for the evening watching a movie. Can't beat that!
