The San Diego Zoo did not disappoint either. I found it so fascinating. Watching all these animals I could not help but wonder about God's train of thought when He created each of them. They each cry out the majesty of His name and bring Him honor. It was humbling to think that just as He created these animals and cares for them, He does even more so for us.
Benjamin specifically loved this sweet 51 year old orangutan. They just pressed their noses to the glass and stared at each other. Kate was thrilled to get her face painted and without skipping a beat requested to have it painted like a flamingo. That seemed to be the favorite animal for her because she chose a stuffed animal flamingo from the gift shop at Sea World the day before.
