While we were in San Diego at the end of the week, Andrew and Carrie came down for the Marine Ball. Don't they look so spiffy?!?
That Friday evening the Marine layer started moving in and it was something to behold. It went from looking clear as a bell to ominous and mysterious.
One morning I took the kids to get a special treat from Heavenly cupcakes. And they were delicious! Carrie was so kind to take us to Sprinkles earlier that week and they were also yummy.
The morning we left the sky was just beautiful. That's one thing I will never get over is the sunsets and sunrises in California. Oh and the weather!
Both kids got the treat of sitting in the cock pit on our way from San Diego to Houston. They were thrilled! The pilot was so nice...we had just been in line with him getting coffee before we boarded...good to know he was well caffeinated.
