Could I have more pictures taken in this chair?

It's starting to really feel like spring now. Kate and I went on a walk on the Farmington Canal with some other Moms and their babies earlier this week and it was SO nice. We are taking full advantage of the additional sunlight and warm temperatures. Chris just got off a rotation that had him driving 2 hours round trip to work every day, except for Thursday. He was working at one of Yale's satellite clinics so he spent a lot of time in the car. Thankfully now he's on a different rotation that puts him back at Yale's main campus in New Haven. It's hard to believe he's 3/4's of the way through his first year of residency! This year has flown by and if it's anything like med school, the closer we get to the end the faster time will go by.

Kate is doing great. She talks all the time and has started learning to really use her vocal cords and make a rather high pitched squeal. She's putting everything in her mouth these days and is slowly figuring out eating from a spoon. She's loves her Daddy, her eyes light up when he comes home and she gets the biggest smile on her face. This weekend we took a walk and Chris wanted to try on the Bjorn carrier. She thought this was the funniest thing in the world...she kept laughing everytime she'd look at me so I don't know if she was laughing at the fact that she was being worn by her Daddy or that she could walk side by side with me. Either way she thoroughly enjoyed the walk.

So it seems that we take A LOT of pictures in the glider that we have in Kate's room. Sorry if you get bored with the setting, but the pictures of the many faces of Kate are always changing.

Can't get these hands out of her mouth

Seriously can't the paparazzi just leave me alone!
