This summer has been fantastic! I caught myself making sure I was making the most of moments with the kids because time is flying and we won't ever have a summer with a 4 and 2 year old again. Our days were filled with pools, sunscreen, zoo days, picnics, and playing golf in the backyard.
These two became even closer...Benjamin has been extra sad watching Kate stay at school each morning and he has to come home with me. :( He cries big tears and says, "MY KATE!" They are buds for sure.
We enjoyed getting to see Carolyn, Madeline, Kimberly, Matt and Molly at Kimberly's nursing white coat ceremony. So fun seeing them not only in our town but at our church...that's where the ceremony was! We had just seen Caroline, Molly and Madeline at the lake a couple weeks before and Kate was thrilled to see them again. :)
We also had a great visit from Poppy, DotDot, Carrie and Julia. Missed Andrew but we'll see him soon in September!
Poppy and DotDot with all their grands, Benjamin 2, Julia 9 months, Kate 4.
Deep conversation
Zoo days with friends...this was only 8 of the 17 children we were with at the zoo. Quite a fun bunch...and all under 7!
We got to have a quick dinner with Papa Joe and Nana and the Josh Ross family last weekend which was such a treat. Papa Joe and his sons...great men. :)
