Funny how when I lived in Arkansas before having children I didn't really notice the passing of the seasons much...if at all. I had no appreciation for the passing of time. Not that I have a ton of that now but I'm seeing that age and life gives you a perspective that gives an appreciation for time. So...fall is upon us. Fall in the last 4 years has hit us right after Labor Day but here in Arkansas it's October. So we're busy with the normal routine that fall brings along with a few extras like getting mums, pumpkins, fall candy corn desserts and making pumpkin waffles with apple cider syrup.
