Get ready for 50...yes 50 pictures that capture what we did in May.
The kids had fun at both Nana and Papa Joe's and DotDot and Poppy's houses while Chris and I went to Little Rock for a few days and found a house. We had a GREAT time but missed them so much. I had no idea how hard it would be to be away from them for 4 nights.
We stayed at the Capital Hotel and it was beautiful! The hotel's elevator is huge...they say it was made that big so that President Grant's horse could ride it...apparently he wanted his horse close at all times.

We went to NYC on a beautiful day. The weather really was great and the kids enjoyed the train ride.
Turned out we were on the same train as the Crocketts so we grabbed lunch together at a hamburger hole in the wall, but it's in the Parker Meridian Hotel...behind a curtain and there's one small neon sign pointing the way. Thanks to Bo for knowing about it because we never would have found it.
Afterwards we took the kids to F.A.O. Schwartz and they had a blast. Kate especially loved the huge piano they used in the movie Big.
On our way to lunch and then again back to the train station we saw the a scene taping from the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty . We saw Ben Stiller do a stunt...pretty neat!
We also had a BBQ with our friends the Krops and Crocketts.

Then it poured down on the guys as they grilled...they didn't seem to mind and it passed quickly.
And here Kate is on the first day of school in September 11'
And here she is on the last day of school May 12'...she's growing up so fast!
