Benjamin is 8 months old!!!

It's hard to believe Benjamin is 8 months old!  

Benjamin you are:

• laid back...wonderfully laid back.  The balance to your sister in so many ways.  It's such a blessing because we keep a pretty fast pace in the mornings and you just go with the flow so well.
• on the move, we are seeing you get on all fours and try your hardest to coordinate your hands and knees to move you place to place.  No worries though...you manage to get where you want by a combination of scooting, rolling and wiggling. 
• eating is still going well. You nurse about 7 times in a 24 hour period and are sleeping better (now that we let you cry it out one night).  Only getting up once in the early hours of the morning to eat and then go back down until 6:30-7:30am.
• you eat purees but you have recently been wanting foods you can pick up.  Puffs are your favorite!  You get so excited when you see the container.
• napping is hit or miss but for the most part good.  You take a 45 min-an hour nap in the morning and then about an hour and a half to two hour nap in the afternoon. 
• you have seemed to say "Da-da" a couple of times and it seems pointed at your Daddy so I'm counting it as your first semi-word.  
• you LOVE Kate!  She can do no wrong in your eyes and she loves you back just as much.
