We went to Arkansas last week for Lindsay's wedding (more on that in another post). We had a great time visiting with family and friends. It always makes us miss Arkansas because we have so many people that we love living there. It's always comforting to go just about anywhere (literally, from Walmart, to driving out of a neighborhood, to a Cracker Barrel restroom) and see someone you know. So much of who Chris and I are has been shaped by people in that great state. Arkansas will always feel like going home.

Kate and her Backyardigan friends...in our AWESOME minivan. Chris indulged me a little and resisted the opportunity to get a SUV and got us a minivan instead. I loved every bit of this luxury...don't know if I'll be a minivan Mom in the future but it sure made the trip a bit easier.

We've had many years of pictures like this of the three of us...now we're all married and grown. :)
